Allium Ambassador, with its large purple globes, is one of the most popular Alliums—and for good reason. Plant a few in your garden and enjoy them for years, as they’ll return on their own. Around late May or early June, the purple spheres of Allium Ambassador begin to emerge, quickly attracting bees and butterflies. Enjoy weeks of bloom, and even after flowering, the seed heads remain beautifully decorative.
With a height of about 100–130 cm, they make a striking statement at the top of the border! While most Alliums develop yellowing foliage at the base, this variety keeps its leaves relatively green during and after blooming.
Plant them about 25 cm apart in the garden, or try 5–7 bulbs in a large pot for a true showstopper!
